Tenant Advisory Board

Asked how 'tenant' is defined (business tenants excluded) and how advisory boards are formally created.

Argued board members should be free to advise council on their own initiative, and pressed for authority to compel landlords to meet with council, plus city messaging in building entry portals.

Commented via Zoom that the state of Maryland's tenant bill of rights should be part of what the new advisory group uses.

Called for improved tenant accountability and enforcement against property management companies, and supported the proposed Tenant Advisory Board.
